The study of magneto hydrodynamic flow and heat transfer analysis in a non-Newtonian Eyring-Powell fluid fluid past an isothermal sphere with thermal slip. The radiation effects also considered in the energy equation. The governing momentum and energy equations are transformed to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by the use of a nonsimilarity transformation. These equations are solved by numerically subject to physical appropriate boundary conditions using the second order accurate implicit finite difference Keller-box technique. The effects of magnetic field, Eyring-Powell fluid parameter, Prandtl number, Slip parameter on velocity and temperature profiles as well as on the local skin friction coefficient and the local Nusselt number are calculated.Keywords

In this manuscript, the scope of implicit finite difference method in solving a mathematical model for incompressible Jeffery’s fluid past an inclined vertical plate. The influence of many multi-physical parameters in these variables is illustrated graphically and skin friction and Heat transfer rate are computed and discussed through the table. The results found that fluid flow is reduced with increasing Deborah number De, but temperature is accelerates. Increasing λ enhances flow of the fluid, but temperature reduced.Keywords

In the proposed work deals with the heat transfer analysis of Magneto hydrodynamic third grade fluid flow over a horizontal circular cylinder with Biot-number effect. Using the Non – Similarity transformations, the governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations and these equations are solved numerically by using an implicit finite difference Keller - Box method. The influence of emerging non-dimensional parameters, namely the third grade fluid parameter, the material fluid parameters, Magneto hydrodynamic parameter, Biot number effect and the Prandtl number, on velocities and temperatures are evaluated in the boundary layer regime in detail. Increasing the third grade fluid parameter and material fluid parameters are found to increase the velocity and opposite behavior is observed on temperature profiles. Increasing the Magneto hydrodynamic parameter is found to decreases the velocity and increases the temperature. An increasing the Biot number whereas the velocity and temperature are enhances and increasing the Prandtl number, the velocity and temperature profiles are in depresses .The study is relevant to chemical materials processing applications.Keywords

A numerical analysis used to simulate forced convection heat transfer of incompressible Jeffery’s fluid past an inclined vertical plate with presence of Naiver slip and Newtonian heating effects. The governing partial differential equations are remodeled into ordinary differential equations by using non-similarity transformation. The ensuing differential equations are resolved numerically by using centered finite difference technique (Keller Box Method). The results of flow and heat analysis on the local skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number profiles are given diagrammatically. Results shows that Navier slip parameter enhance the heat transfer rate and suppress the friction at wall, but opposite effect can be found the presence of Newtonian heating. The simulation is relevant to polymer coating thermal processing.Keywords
